The Brief

As an internal innovation team Adidas Future had a massive impact on the company’s vision and future success. But what they did and how they did it was largely shrouded in mystery, making it difficult for them to develop trust and initiate collaboration with their colleagues in other departments. They needed help to clearly define and tell their own story to their global Adidas counterparts. BILD partners were asked to come in and help them articulate their role in helping the company define and move toward its vision for the future.

The Work

It wasn’t enough to simply tell a story. Together we needed to illustrate how the Future team thinks, dreams and designs to help others in the organization understand how they could engage and add value in the process. We helped the team communicate their vision of “Creating the Future of Sport” by demonstrating their work process from broad inspirational exploration through to finished concept design, and by showing how they translated that vision into the tangible products and services that come out of their studio day after day. The result was a working tool that allowed the team to better connect and collaborate across the organization to advance shared goals.
